Antennas

GAP Titan DX Vertical

With the exception of 20 meters, the Gap works well on 40, 20, 17, 12 and 10 meters. SWR is less than 2 throughout. The location is over brackish water which appears to help with low-angle radiation.

Installing Quad

Bucket is a must for mounting Quad on a telephone pole.

Mounting mast through thrust bearing...

Bringing the antenna to the mount...Please don't drop it!

Securing mast to Brackets

Once the mast is through the thrust bearing and into the rotor it gets easier!

Almost finished!

Good friend Jerry K4TOT installs Coax

Lightning-Bolt 2-Element Quad

The quad is my DX antenna. The antenna performs beyond expectations and is a real pile-up buster. Rotor is a Yaesu G-800DXA.

Alpha-Delta DX-OCF, Off-Center Fed

The Alpha-Delta covers 7 bands with no antenna tuner. Response is relatively flat across 80, 40, 20, 17, 12, 10 and 6 meters...

VHF/UHF

A small tower on the roof is home for a Cushcraft A627013S 6 Meter/2 Meter/70CM Tri-band Antenna. Rotor is a Yaesu S-450A.
